In view of ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the possibility of continued public health restrictions,, travel bans and most importantly, the health of our registrants, presenters, and staff, PBLA has decided to reschedule the National Pro Bono Conference. The conference will now take place from September 21 to 23, 2022. The Conference will be held at Hotel Arts in Calgary, and conference attendees will enjoy a visit to Studio Bell, the home of the National Music Centre, for the awards banquet.

We are grateful to our sister provincial pro bono organizations, planning committee members, funders, and the access to justice community, for their support and continued engagement around this event. We look forward to building on these efforts as we plan for the Conference in 2022.

The National Pro Bono Conference remains the only national access to justice conference in Canada, and one of the symbols of our nation-wide belief in the importance of access to justice. We know that the legal response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be the focus of access to justice organizations and stakeholders and look forward to gathering soon to discuss experiences, challenges and learnings from this pandemic.

If you have not done so, please consider joining our conference mailing list and following us on our digital platforms to stay current on future event updates. We look forward to hosting you in Fall 2022! From our PBLA family to yours, we hope that you continue to stay safe and be well during these trying times.

Sincerely,
