The Calgary Legal Advice clinic is an annual one-day event that provides summary legal advice to members of the public. The clinic is run in conjunction with the Law Connect event at the Calgary Public Library, and in partnership with Norton Rose Fulbright (Canada) LLP and Calgary Legal Guidance.
The 2019 Calgary Legal Advice Clinic will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 10AM – 3PM at the Calgary Central Library.

Appointments at the Calgary Legal Advice Clinic can be made by calling our intake line at 403-541-4804 between October 8 – 18. There are no income guidelines to meet, and appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. When calling to book an appointment, please be prepared to provide details of your matter, including opposing party information, to our intake volunteers. Appointments cannot be scheduled outside of the intake period.
There will be a limited number of walk-in appointments available on the day of the clinic, but service is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend that clients pre-book appointments to guarantee service on the day.
Intake Dates: October 8 – 18 (except Sundays and Thanksgiving Monday)
Intake Time: 8AM – 4PM (Monday through Fridays), 9AM – 12PM (Saturdays)
We are now recruiting volunteers to assist with client intake between October 8 – 18. Bookings are done by phone, and volunteers will be responsible for collecting relevant client/party information and creating detailed case descriptions.
Shifts are available from 8AM – 12PM and 12PM – 4PM Monday through Friday, and from 9AM – 12PM on Saturdays. Interested volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts during the intake window. No experience is required, and training is provided.
