The National Pro Bono Conference is held every two years and is co-hosted by Access Pro Bono of British Columbia, Pro Bono Law Alberta, Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan, Pro Bono Ontario and Justice Pro Bono (Quebec).
The Conference brings together lawyers, paralegals, law students, judges, politicians, non-profit sector leaders, academics and the public from Canada, the U.S. and abroad to share ideas and best practices for increasing access to justice for all members of society.
Postponed to 2021: National Pro Bono Conference
In view of ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including restrictions around large gatherings, travel bans and most importantly, the health of our registrants, presenters, and staff, PBLA has decided to reschedule the National Pro Bono Conference. The conference will now take place from September 29 to October 1, 2021. Venue arrangements will remain the same; the conference will be held at Hotel Arts, and conference attendees will enjoy a visit to Studio Bell, the home of the National Music Centre, for the awards banquet.
